So you want to start a business selling goods and services around, but we all know that even without the current economic and financial hullabaloo, most people just aren't easy to sell to. How about going for internet marketing instead? Sure you might encounter similar levels of hard-to-sell-to customers, but with the tools you'll be using, you don't have to talk personally and you can sell to multiple people at once. It's a good business, actually, if you know what you're doing.


One of the most rampant internet marketing schemes or paradigms is affiliate marketing. A merchant partners with affiliates and the affiliates then market or sell the merchant's goods and services partaking in the proceeds of a sale they helped make. Of course, if you

have goods or services you'd want to sell yourself then you can also become a merchant, but it's still a good idea to be affiliated, and sell other affiliate merchant's products as well. You can either start a business in affiliate marketing on your own or join an affiliate network, one great advantage of which is the multi-tiered affiliate scheme that makes you money for a sale made by an affiliate you referred to the program.

Of course to start a business like this in the internet would be just like setting up a virtual counterpart of the real thing, so you can expect some of the real world market aspects reflecting in the cyber world, though in terms of the marketing tools, suffice it to say marketing in the internet is tenfold easier than in real life.
